I don't' think I blogged at all in August did I? Well lots has been going on, I spend about 2 weeks on a Jury it was cool. A long story, but a neat experience. I am glad I got to do it, but not upset that I have a 24 month reprieve from it. Meet some neat people, had a great judge, although the cases ended in mistrial but it would have been that way anyways, since we needed 10 of 12 to agree on all the charges, but we would not have had that, we had 3 of us who firmly supported the defense.
So I missed taking Logan to school the first day of school that was very sad for me. He was excited to go to Westridge, so I don't think he was phased at all...I guess he is growing up and I am not sure I am ready for this.
Here are my kids on the first day of school. Logan had to have his picture taken with Shadoe.
So we have made it almost to the end of September, and no major issues. Logan's grades are SUPER, on his progress report he had a 95 in Reading, 98 in Math, & 99 in Writing...He hates writing more than you can image but he is doing really good. Although doing his spelling contract every week is somewhat of a fight. So as long as we can make it to the first report card, keeping those grades up, he will get getting an AWESOME GRADE Stripe at TKD.
Speaking of which, Logan will hopefully be testing for his Brown Belt in November. WE are so excited for this. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he shows the leadership skills and qualities needed to advance to this level.
As far as everything else, it has been hectic for a while, but it will all come out in the wash...one way or another!
