Have you ever made a decision to do something at the last minute, then realize it was the BEST idea you ever had? This is what happened at my house this weekend.
Monday I was asked by a friend at work if her son could spend the night, I was more than happy to say yes, since Sean & Logan have so much fun together. But I had said nothing to Logan, it was going to be a surprise. So then I had the idea to ask Chele is Marcos could stay too. WOW....I was planning Logan's first sleep over - and he had no idea. 3 boys over night, we can do this.
We picked Sean up Saturday Morning, went over to moms to help get the apartment more organized. Then we headed to pick up Marcos. We got to the house, got his clothes packed, was heading out the door, and then we hit the Biggest Little Roadblock!
MATTHEW PUT HIS FOOT DOWN!!!! Marcos was not leaving with out him....'Pack him a bag!' So now we have one more....wait do the math 4 boys...2 parents....(who are use to only having 1).....We can do this!
First things first!!! Off to CiCi's fill the bellys!!! We had 4 of the best little men in the world, they all ate really well, and we so polite and well behaved! Home we go, perfect night for outside playtime. The front yard needed mowed, so Ray put the vehicles in the street blocking the driveway, I sprayed bug spray on the kids, and off we went! Riding the bike, scooter, big wheel, running, tree climbing, and balloons mixed with 4 boys a GREAT 2 hours outside. We had told the boys they could play PS3, so here they come Sonic, the bigger boys took turns as instructed, and had no problems. Matthew played all over the house, i made Kool-Aid for them...and Matthew kept asking...'I this my juice?' They had played so hard, we needed popcorn and snacks! They were so wonderful!!!
Movie Time!!!! We made a pallet on the living room floor, put in The Tooth Fairy to try to get the boys settled down. Did I say TRY????? The others were settling pretty good, but little Matthew was not doing to well....he is 3 and this was his first night away from home! So I coaxed him to lay down with me and try to fall....I think the last time I looked at the clock it was 11:00pm or so...Ray stayed up watching the movie with the big kids, and once it was over, he took Matthew and put him with the other boys. So here is it Sunday Morning, Logan is awake, and I have not soon any of the others up yet. But almost 8:00am, and going to start getting things ready to make pancakes!!!! How many should I plan on making to feed these boys...Regular or Chocolate Chip??? So many decisions!!!
This amazing night will be coming to an end soon, and I cant Wait to do it again!!!!

WOW - It Has Been a While
The last 2 weeks have been completely CRAZY!!!!
My job moved to Dallas - FINALLY!! After a year of hearing when it is going to happen. It did. The weekend of April 23 they took all of our stuff to our new place. It works out pretty good. Since Logan's daycare is in Grand Prairie I take the TRE from Irving then take the DART Light Rail to the job. It is about a 25 minute commute, where someone else is driving, and I am not spending my gas, or wear & tear on my vehicle.
It has been a little hard since my time with Logan is shortened, but we still get our quality time.
Last weekend, we moved the in-laws from the house to an apartment. It was an 'interesting' weekend. We packed as we moved boxes, which is what we did last time too...any one who knows me knows how OCD I am about some things and that was just crazy!!! But we got all the big stuff in the apartment and set up. Had to move things to storage to get ready for a garage sale, and to bring some items over here. As we were making our rounds, mom got to Glenda's house, not sure how she drove...SHE WAS SO SICK. Once we all got there, dad took her home, although it should have been straight to the hospital. So after 13 hours of moving, Ray, Logan & I went and ate at Denny's, not much more open at 10:30pm on our way home. Poor Logs was BEAT!!! He kept falling asleep at the table, we all crashed when we got home.
The next morning pop called to tell us the apartment had flooded!!!!!! Not a good start to the day, so we were walking out the door, headed back to Irving to unload more stuff that we did not get unloaded the night before. Then Glenda was sent back to mom's to take her to the Hospital! So we get more work done, and head to the flooded apartment, we think to move them AGAIN!!!! But the carpet cleaner guys were there and they took up the wet pad, sucked up all the water and will have to wait a week to get the new pad laid down.
Helen got admitted to the hospital with a severe kidney infection, that she had for about 2 weeks and it moved in to her blood stream. So he has been in the hospital all week, out of it, and on antibiotics. She was suppose to be released on Thursday, but the doctor saw how bad of a case of gout set in and she is still really out of it...so they kept her another day. So maybe on Friday she will get out.
Once they get the carpet pad laid down, then we need to set the apartment back up. I am asking for prayers that she gets better soon, and things look up for them.
