What exactly is a friend in your mind? That is a question you should ask yourself quite often......Why is it that people can come in to your like, make a dramatic impact then all of the sudden it is NO BIG DEAL that you ever talk....OR you have the friend you have know for so many years you loose touch, and when you are reunited, by chance or the power of the net, NOTHING has changed...you pick up where you left off so many moons ago....OR I love this one...the friend who is your friend until someone else comes into their or your life then they are gone.....So what is a friend to you? I mean really....how many ways do the phone lines go.....hint hint .....if i can call you....then you know that you can call me. It really gets to me the people who try so hard to PLEASE everyone else.....and do what others think is right????
Ask your self this question.....if you had one friend who you have know for 20 years....and for a long time you were apart....then all of the sudden you could be togehter again and hang out....what would you do??? A: Forget they exisited, B: try for a while then toss it to the wayside, C: try to make the most of it and enjoy being around that person, and not act like it is an effort.......I guess there is not right or wrong answer....but I wonder if the question should be WHAT WOULD YOU WANT DONE TO YOU?!?!?!?!
Does a friend say hi in an email just to do it? Does a friend call and say hey last minute lets meet for dinner? Is a friend there for you??? So many ways to decide who is and who is not a friend......Oh wait here is an other kind... the one who does not have time for you until is it something that will beneift them....those are my favorites.....What about the friend who is your friend then decides that if they can not have you to themselvs 100% and you are happy they want nothing to do with you.....
If you have a FRIEND.....ask yourself are they really your friend...and then YOU need to decide if you are really THEIR friend....is it returned......
It is understandable how life can get in the way....but sometimes.....realize who has been there for all those years. Thanks to myspace.com I have found MANY people I thought I never would find again....but I am DAMN glad I have, some I talk with quite often others it is just a comment...but I am trying to make an effort.....and if you THINK you are my friend I would like the same thing in return......
